Rick and I helped Rising Above Counseling Agency with its annual conference on abuse issues again this year. We have been helping them for more than 15 years.
A church that ministers to the youth on the streets was the main sponsor for the event, as well as surrounding bigger churches. This year the conference was held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
People came from northern British Columbia, downtown Vancouver, other provinces in Canada and even from the United States. Many of the attendees had powerful experiences with God and found healing from their issues, freedom from drugs and addictions and freedom to forgive for the pain that was inflicted on them from others.
Rick and I are always honored to share God's love with Native communities. Prayers from our supporters are so important. God seems to lead at just the right moment where we should be next.
